About Me

Hello! I'm Heather, and The Garden Scout. Backed by 25 years of experience in everything green or growing.  I studied horticulture at Merrit College, and I've spent the following 15 years gaining knowledge at nurseries in the Placerville area. I'm keen on pollinators, drought-tolerant arrangements, and specialty plant gardens. I also have a large collection of Japanese maples that I have gained a steady knowledge of. My goal with The Garden Scout is to help people be successful gardeners by educating, coaching, and giving instruction to the lawn care personnel.
